I did my PhD in applied statistics at Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay
(Université Paris-Sud) and EDF R&D
under the supervision of Élisabeth Gassiat
(LMO) and Thi-Thu-Huong Hoang (EDF).
I worked on stochastic modelling of weather variables (temperature, precipitations, wind speed, solar radiation) using hidden Markov models.
The aim of my thesis was to build a multivariate stochastic weather generator
able to quickly simulate realistically long time series of meteorological variables.
Topics of interest:
hidden Markov models, times series, stochastic weather generators, climate modelling
