research

My research is in the field of mathematical physics, especially on applications of probabilistic ideas to quantum mechanics. Recently, my main topics of research are related with repeated indirect measurements (their distributions and the information that can be extracted from them), with the so called full counting statistics (or two-time measurements, that allow for a reformulation of e.g. thermodynamic laws for quantum systems), and with ideas related to log-Sobolev inequalities for quantum evolutions.
