Arithmetics, Analysis, Geometry

 Master program

The M2 « Analysis, Arithmetics, Geometry » taught at Paris-Sud University is a part of the track « AAGA2 » in the Master program « Mathematics and Applications » at Paris-Saclay University.
This track also includes the M2 « Algèbre Appliquée » taught at Versailles St-Quentin University.

The main goal of the M2 « Analysis, Arithmetics, Geometry » (AAG) is to best prepare the students for a PhD in fundamental mathematics. Most courses and instructors are renewed every two years in order to allow for a vaster disciplinary field. The students build their curriculum with a varied choice of courses.

The represented disciplines in the M2 AAG include: number theory, algebraic geometry, differential geometry, geometric group theory, dynamical systems, harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, etc.

The full course programme is available on the page Programme and the planning information on the page Informations.

 Career opportunities

The M2 « Analysis, Arithmetics, Geometry » mainly leads to a PhD in fundamental mathematics.
