Mini-conference in group theory

Orsay, december 16 and 17th access

Groups acting on rooted trees and groups acting on CAT(0) spaces

The purpose of the conference is to gather people who understand how interesting examples of groups can be obtained
from automorphism groups of rooted trees (resp. of CAT(0) spaces) and how information on these groups can be obtained from the action on the tree (resp. CAT(0) space).

Speakers

L. Bartholdi, S. Brofferio, A. Erschler, V. Kaimanovitch, N. Monod, V. Nekrashevych, Y. Shalom, A. Zuk
